Rules and Regulations (中文 )
Commencing January 1, 2007, our website will accept application for membership.
1. Basic declaration of the website:
1. The objective of the website is to connect all CCK TCPM stylists around the globe and serve as a resource. Therefore, personal and private opinions of individual and/or organization will not be posted. The Association reserves the right to post or pull material.
2. Membership fees will be calculated at the end of December, every year. The amount of operating costs will be deducted first and the remainder will be divided into equal shares of 50% each for future operation expenses and/or projects. The remaining 50% will be given directly to Grandmaster Chiu’s widow, who will issue a receipt for the amount. This gesture is to show our filial piety to Grandmaster Chiu and his wife.
3. Any member, whose action(s) whether privately or publicly impose major negative effect(s) on the reputation, function, development, solidarity, etc. of the Association, will be expelled. The Association reserves the rights to litigation. We hope members will observe good martial conduct, and exercise respects for all. 2. Membership Structure: Membership is divided into group and individual categories.
a. Group Member – includes all CCK TCPM affiliated gyms, clubs, schools, community center classes. Any of these entities can provide proofs to apply for membership. b. Individual Member – Please list lineage and generation, teacher’s name, and name of club. If it is a private student of a teacher, please supply proof or documentation such as certificate of a club, photograph with teacher, letter of introduction, etc.
Once the application goes through a verification process, membership identity will establish. (Please refer to verification process.) 3. Member’s benefits: Group Membership once approved will have the privilege of posting notices of the group’s activities such as tournaments, parades, interviews, seminars, etc. After the expiration date of the activities, the notice will be deleted. The posting privilege will not be extended if membership is expired. (Restriction does not apply to Lifetime membership, which has also editing privilege to its information at any time)
Individual Membership once approved will have the privilege of including his/her name in the lineage chart. The member’s information (i.e. martial arts background, experiences, achievements, etc) can be posted for the duration of the membership and it will be deleted after the expiration of membership. (Restriction does not apply to Lifetime membership, which has also editing privilege to its information at any time)
4. Membership Fees:
A fiscal year is 1st of January to 31st of December of the same year.
Hong Kong area – Group membership annual fee is $1000 HKD
Individual membership annual fee is $100 HKD
Oversea - Group membership annual fee is $150 USD
Individual membership annual fee is $20 USD
One fiscal year is a term. When payment of 10 terms is made in advance, the member will receive Lifetime membership, with posting and editing privilege of its information at anytime. Group and individual membership will only have one year of posting privilege.
